I don't know who is using what, but here is my setup:
Lariat Lux Hybrid
ForSCAN ver. 2.3.47 running on a Surface Pro 5.
Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter
I'm new to ForSCAN and didn't even know what it could do. I installed the software and scanned my truck. Good Lord... the amount of stuff that is in there is just astounding.
I haven't tweaked anything yet. Just taking my time, reading up on things, researching, etc.
Example:
Here is the APIM Module (Sync 3) in detail. I'm sure a lot of this doesn't apply to the Maverick, but it is surprising that features, not safety issues, were hidden, or disabled, by default. You'd think that a vehicle geared towards the DIY crowd would have the ability to tweak the settings as much as possible without breaking it. Then again, if they gave it all away now, there may not be any left for future trim levels (King Ranch/Limited/Platinum, etc.)
