Wanting to disable the Start/Stop on a 2022 Maverick XLT AWD I own. Having an issue during the file backup/changing.
During backing up files, the PSCM module (which the Master spreadsheet has listed for the enable/disable) does not show up in the list of "Modules Found". FORScan also states it cannot read PCM DTCs. FORScan also stops loading the PCM Module - logging the procedure was interrupted. Used both versions of FORScan (2.3.67 and 2.3.66 on Dell Windows 10 Laptop). Using OBDII Adapter VLinker FS USB. FORScan initially found the PSCM when It was running the std license but a note came up during backup I needed the extended license. I am currently using the 2 month free extended license.
Any help would be appreciated.

OK. Went and got the recommended OBDLink EX. I am using Forscan version 2.3.67 and it sees the PSCM. In easy mode, that parameter, is just an enable disable for the configuration and there is no other values etc. like in other modules. Is that the parameter to change? It is just a "switch"? I disabled it and did a write... let's see...well that did not work... In the BdyCmd I found a parameter that was a s/s global enable/disable but when I disdisable, it the PSCM becomes unavailable and the s/s still operates normally. Are there more parameters to change? Thanks. I am going by the Maverick Master List.

Today, connected to truck with the OBDLink EX and loaded the vehicle config it saw (after deleting the FORScan config originally made with the VLinker FS USB).
Concerning the Start/stop parameters, I found two in the EZ editor:
IN BdyCM Module
BMS/Auto stop start system = enabled (by the way this was the first I saw this parameter in the BdyCM Module.)

In PSCM Module
Start Stop = enabled with angle inhibit

I assume disabling both of these parameters would disable S/S? Hesitant as the Master list only has:
PCSM as disabling S/S completely (which this alone did not do on my truck - but was connected via VLinker)
Can someone clarify?
Thanks.

Today, running FORScan ver 2.3.67, connected to the truck with the OBDLink EX and let it run a new vehicle config.
In the BdyCmd Module: Set BMS/Auto stop start system = Disable
In the PSCM Module: Set Start Stop = Disable.

This works in my truck. No DTCs. The engine continues to idle during a stop. After a couple seconds, the S/S Icon (A) with the slash thru it comes on the Instrument panel during the time the engine would be off during S/S. This works for me. According to the Master List, this could be turned off, too.
