I’ve been using FORScan with windows for a while now. I recently bought a Bluetooth OBD2 reader so after reading your post thought I’d give it a try.

I wasn’t able to get the iOS version to work so I contacted them. They say it should be working in a couple of weeks. I also asked for clarification on the app/licensing fee. I’ll update here when they get back to me.

FORScan Demo/Viewer/Lite for iOS/Android wasn't updated for long time (it uses v2.3.59 core, actually), that's probably why it doesn't identify the car. New update should be released in 2 weeks.
