FORScan Auto Start/Stop

Question if anybody can help me. I am wanting to know when you disable the auto start/stop does the off button you use in manual mode to turn the system off does it show the system as off? I own a 2025 XL AWD if that makes a difference.

I used Forscan and the button doesn’t light up on my 2024 and start/stop is deleted. Every once in a while the A with a circled slash shows up below the speedometer reading.

Way cheaper than others I've seen. Have you used it? How long and what's been your experience?

That is what I ended up doing is turning it off there and so happy to have that stupid option off. I wish that Ford and other the system worked like the auto brake hold. When you turn it on it stays on. I would have been easy in my mind that when you turn the system off via the button it stays off unless you turn it back on.

Ford's gotta keep their credits for smog control and fuel economy if it's used during the testing phase to get the figures.

Same as hybrid defaults to Normal driving mode, even if you want Sport.
Well, 25/26 gets 2-4 seconds to keep what was last used, if you ever see it.

So either it's a complaint against the system that makes this a useful thing to do.
Or complaint against Ford for not finding some other method to hit their desired figures instead of using this method at all.
Or shoot - just pass on the increased expense thru the sales price for the fines and such and let it go!

That is a lot cheaper than the one I have been looking at, I see it comes with a pry tool. What has to be taken apart to install it?
