*edited to say that the Fordpass issue is resolved. So glad it was a ford issue and not just my truck. They have been having fordpass issues all week*
I am loving my Maverick so far. I have had it for 5 days and have put almost 200 miles on it.
I dont want to complain, just putting this out here so we can keep track of any issues we may be having as this is a first year vehicle
I haven't been able to activate the vehicle through Ford Pass yet. Everytime I try the app tells me that it cant connect. I called the Fordpass guides on Friday and they are looking into it. I have done everything I can think of to try and fix it (update sync, restart sync, restart fordpass on the truck, remove vehicle and readd it, redownload app on phone, etc). There may be something wrong with the modem, I guess we will see what they say later this week.
Another interesting thing... the dealer said that they could not put the wheel locks on the XL because of the covers on the lugnuts. Seems legit, I guess, but if anyone else disagrees let me know because I would really like having wheel locks. I learned that I didnt have wheel locks after I returned to the dealer to ask for the lugnut key. They looked everywhere and couldnt find it, and THEN they figured out that they had never put them on. Good thing I checked, it isnt super expensive but I paid for them! They refunded that part to me.
