Howdy y'all, been a minute since I've posted. For reference. I have a 2022 ford maverick and I am at just over 29k miles on it. I have had it for over a year now and I have had a rough country 2 inch Strut Lift Front and Back for almost the same amount of time on the truck. I put the Lift on about a month after I got the truck with Chase Gentry.
Now for the main portion recently when me and Chase were putting a thermal r&d cat back exhaust on my truck (video will be coming soon on his channel and a post on here from me.) After putting on the exhaust we were inspecting the Lift kit to make sure everything was holding up since it's been over a year of having it on. Chase notice I had a CV leak on the front passenger side. I took the truck to the dealership next day and got an oil change. They also told me about the cv issue on my truck. I drove it over to the service department and they said they'll take care of it. They were fast 2 days was all it took for them to get it fixed and back to me. Thankfully they covered it under warranty but said itd be just this one time due to me having a lift kit.But after being told about the cv issue I had looked it up and seen many others on the forum had experienced the same issue on mavericks both lifted and not lifted. Just sharing my experience with it and how long my truck lasted before it got an issue with one of the cv's
I would like to ask, do yall think this would end up as a recall if it persist on other mavericks?
