Ford Tri-fold Tonneau?

I'd like to keep my Lariat all Ford but is the Ford accessory tri-fold cover that much better than ones that are half the price, OEDRO etc.?

By better you mean exactly the same... It is not worth more because it is literally a branded product you can buy after market.

Is it better that a cheaper one? That depends on what you want it to do and maybe there is a cheaper option, but I am still looking.


For me the big selling points (which I am still not sure I want to fork out $$ for a cover yet)

• Security
• Clean factory look
• Ability to close cover with tailgate up or down
• Being able to utilize most of bed without removing the cover.

The Ford one is actually more like the the cheaper G2. It has a glossy finish as opposed to matte on the MX4.
