I'm just impressed you popped the tires. I've had quite a few vehicles in the air jumping railroad tracks as a kid, and a few as an adult. Lost some hubcaps, destroyed some bumpers, even cracked a radiator but never popped a tire like that. Nice work!

How are you liking the Gr40 suspension? I’m close to pulling the trigger on it, now would be the time as well, but I saw a review that said his maverick rides like shit now

Im actually in the LA area but the truck is close to San Diego right now so I will be going down there to pick up the truck. If you want to take a look at the old rack and pinion you are welcome to have it.

honestly was very impressed this little unibody held up to that hard of a hit. No a arm damage, no cracked steering nuckles and most importantly the “frame” is A ok

I like it , it hained me a 1 1/2” extra without preloading too heavy on the springs , I made an additional 3” lift for the front with drop pucks on the front crossmember, engine , trans mounts and driveshaft .I am almost done with a produceable 4” kit with crossmember and steering upgrades.
As far. As the gr40 kit , I keep it all the way soft and it rides slightly stiffer than stock.
I am also working on a 2 1/2” shock/strut upgrade with large resevoirs as the 2” style struts over heat real quick on the type of driving I do.

If you hadn't done that, I would not have had the chance to see your terrain truck with the fender flares and confirm for me that I want them when my 2025 in desert sand arrives. So, thank you. But seriously, that sucks and I'm sorry that you had that experience and had to fork over all the $$$ to fix it. BTW, can you tell me where you got the side and hood decals?

Awesome! Thank you for replying. So the dealer in El Centro was wanted me to pay an extra $400 to keep the rack and pinion and when I went to pick it up the department that had the part was closed so I only ended up with a CV axle. I’m back in LA right now. I’d be willing to meet you have way if you wanted the part and of course for free

Thank you! I like the fender flairs as well, I wanted something to protect the inner lip under the wheel well and these offer a bit of protection there. But when I did purchase these there where not many options available. If I had to do it again I would probably go for the rough country fender flares or Mabett at half the price
