Excellent video. Great camera work. Artful. Enjoyable. And beneficial to your fellow Maverick enthusiasts. Thanks!

Thanks, great video. I've headed south in winter for the last several years but your ski town has me missing that aspect of the great white north.
Thanks for the complement James! C'mon out to PC. There is actually more to do here in summer than winter. It's a short 30 min drive on I80 from SLC airport.

I have the same truck except factory tires.curious how it would do without the blizzacks. I do have those tires on our front wheel drive dodge caravan and they work great!
Hi Tim,

Here is your answer about no Blizzaks on our Mav. This is one of many snow videos I posted from last winter. Even with that huge snow year, we never had to put chains on the AWD with std Conti tires. Surprised me actually.

Yes, Blizzaks on a FWD are great, but will not get you past chain control on mountain roads. The turbo AWD only costs about $10 more per tank. That is worth not being forced to stop during a miserable snow storm.

Thanks for sharing! So did you notice much difference in the snow comparing the blizzacks to the Continentals?

Yes Tim, although the Contis climbed the same streets fine, the Blizzaks grip better. Their silicone based rubber does not harden like a street tire or an All Terrain tire. And the Blizzak tread pattern digs through the snow better.
