Ford Maverick Minimum Warranty Question

Hi,

So I have a 2024 XL Eco-boost and was wondering what the bare minimum warranty is for the Maverick? I never purchased any special warranty's. I was also wondering if I am allowed to do maintenance on my maverick like fluids and filters? Would that void my warranty... granted I did everything correctly? Do you guys do your own maintenance? I found something on Ford's website but I'm just not sure if it's for any new Ford or if I had to pay extra for these warranty's.

I do my own basic maintenance too. Keep the receipts for oil, oil filter purchases etc. Write the mileage on the receipt.

I use a Motorcraft oil filter just to eliminate that discussion.

I also make a sticker using blue painter's tape and a Sharpie showing date and mileage of service: O+F 5/25/24 3825 mi. I put it on the door jamb. That way I don't need to fumble through paper records or receipts.

I hear you can keep service records in the FordPass app but then I read they revised the app and that feature no longer works.

I did not do any mods that affect as-built perimeters for the reason you are concerned about. I did some cosmetic mods.

If you can show that you maintained the vehicle as outlined in the service manual, FoMoCo can't blame it on neglect regardless of who did the service. They may TRY, but your records are your proof.
