I'm also with you, after 6,000 miles my Lariat Hybrid is a keeper. I have a near new F-150 with 6,000 miles on it, and a new Lexus Hybrid (which gets slightly better mileage than the Mav) and both of those vehicles sit in the garage while the Mav is the go to vehicle. I never thought that would happen.

8k miles since April 1, 2023, almost all city. Average 38mpg on very hilly terrain with leadfoot wife. :)

This has truly been my most favorite vehicle ever! It's the ultimate commuter car which also allows us to do "home owner stuff". Love it!
That is about what I am getting for an average with mixed highway and city in Central Texas. But I have a lift and larger tires. I am actually surprised it does so well.

I have a 2022 hybrid Lariat and I love it so much I make up reasons to drive. Need a band-aid? I'm happy to go get one. I do the speed limit. I don't mind stopping when the light is yellow. Not because I'm an ultra-conservative driver (although, I am because I knew it would take months to repair if I was in an accident), but because I love driving it and the longer the better.

I bought a 2023 Lariat for me and for towing behind the motorhome...then bought a 2024 for my wife as her "town car" hauling around sewing "stuff". She loves it so much, she had me sell her 2019 MX-5 RFGT.
That's real love. Not a shred of unhappiness from either one of us.

Forgot to record the one in the middle. It was somewhere around high 40s from what I can remember when I shut it off.

All running A/C, and not trying to hyper mile or anything. Just being aware when the truck likes to switch to hybrid and being sure to need the battery charged at that time. Such as small hills or from dead stops. These are a mix 9f 25, 35 and 40mph streets with a short half mile stretch that's 55. Lots of lights and stop signs so takes a while. I'm also not quick to shut it off since i like my a/c.

I guess I'm the dinosaur in this room. I have a '22 hybrid Lariat, fully loaded with all of the bells and whistles, in which I purchased on 27 Oct 22. It was a canceled order that the customer got tired of waiting for it.

I currently have 22K on it. I took several over the road trips with it, and it runs like a champ on the interstate. I even took a trip hauling a 5' x 8' UHaul trailer from my home in Florida to Buffalo, NY. The Mav hauled it without any problem. I did have a mileage reduction with hauling the trailer, but I expected that.

I love the smoothness of the way it rides and the no shift points in the transmission.

It is much larger on the inside than it appears to be, and that has surprised many people that wanted to look inside.

The only dissatisfaction I've had is the number of recalls and safety bulletins I've had, all of which have been fixed as of 10 May 24. I just cross my fingers that no other recalls occur.

Enough of a reason to love the hybrid Maverick.

I've found that while driving, especially when parking, the truck is smaller that it appears. Must be the hood perspective. Oftentimes when pulling into a parking space I have much more room in the front than I initially calculated resulting in my getting back in the truck and pulling up closer. Still trying to get used to that, lol.
