Yes, unless you go alternate through the finance office of the dealer, which is for subprime credit and usually higher.

We get absolutely fvked compared to the states for our rates.

Ford Canada now has rates starting at 6.99% on the Maverick. Unless you’re paying cash, that really puts a damper on the affordability of this truck. I know it’s not Ford’s fault but still disappointing.

Ford says that if the interest & incentives are better when the vehicle arrives you can choose that instead. However, I don’t see the interest rates coming down for some time.

Hopefully given the price of the truck you can put a sizeable % deposit, and avoid too much financing. Then refinance later if rates improve.

What's the damage on interest rates these days?? Super excited for my maverick to arrive but dreading to see the financing. Not even sure if it will be worth taking anymore.

The lowest interest rate for the MY23 Maverick on Ford Canada's website is 6.99%. In theory the interet rate should be based on when you placed your order, or it least it was with MY22 vehicles.

My credit union right now is offering 4.99% sometimes at certain times of the year they go down by up to 1%. Got to find a good credit union. The one I use is in the California central valley and is called myeecu. Great credit union.
