Ford Emails in Canada

I phoned Ford of Canada and got a scheduled build date of JAN 10. I ordered my Truck Sept 24.

Which phone number did you use? I have called Ford Canada Customer Service from Ford website and they just referred me back to dealer who doesn't have any updates yet.

I ordered mine at the end of Sept. I have a VIN and order number. Build date of JAN 17 2022.

Omg....I ordered mine in Aug, still no update

I dropped my deposit in September if I recall correctly, talked the day after with the business agent to submit financing details.
Radio silence since then, nothing, nada, no calls, emails or texts from the dealer or Ford.
But what can they really communicate?
I figured when I put my deposit on it I’ll see my truck April or May, possibly June.
They figured it would be January or February for one of their build slots.
I’m hoping it’s actually within my window and not theirs, lol…

Somewhat but I expected it.
No news is good news?
I ordered a loaded truck so I’m willing to bet they want the rest of my money and potential trade in more than I need a new truck.
Funny part is the longer they take the less likely they will get my trade in.
With that in mind I’m patient.

You need the VIN and order number (got mine from my local dealer).

What does the order# look like? I had my sales Rep send the order but not sure which is the actual order#

My order is Oct 12th, Eco AWD XLT Lux 4K 360 Moonroof. I have called Ford twice, both times said “In Processing”. My dealer is really good. I send a lot of e-mails asking questions and he tries to answer them. I think a lot of times they don’t either

You got that! I'm not sure if pulled the Leases they had lined up, in the States they cancelled the leases, makes me happy I decided to finance.

From anything ive seen on here its true. For my order its true as well. All communication through my sales rep

I just ordered my vehicle last week (Feb 18) and after reading all the threads on delayed builds am wondering if I will see this unicorn truck! I WAS excited - loved the test ride - but this news is worse than I thought. Here on Vancouver Island it can be a challenge to get vehicle selection ‘cause we are in the boonies. My dealer did not provide anything beyond the deposit payment receipt. I will stick with visualizing my Area 51 2.0 ecoboost Lariat lux fx off road, tow packaged first new car ever in hopes it will manifest.
