Absurd. All I listen to is AM radio (KOGO). FM is trash as far as I'm concerned.

You thought not having a CD player was bad, It looks like Ford will be dropping AM radio on some models.

And which models are those? F-150 Lightning was already confirmed, any others?

Good, let's keep getting rid of other outdated and useless things. Never listen to AM on purpose. It's the crackling crop that kicks in when my Bluetooth drops and I have to change to real radio.

No AM? Well I guess Ford is deleting too many necessities. Instead of trading in my 02 Lariat I have to keep it forever. Or just drive my 3 cars with only AM

We can always carry a Stoney Walkman portable radio. Also AM radio signal travels further than FM. KMOx in St Louis is 50000Watts. I have picked it up at night in Killeen Texas to listen to Cardinal baseball. This is to push you to buy sirsus radio. I do not listen to the radio very much. I. Have the music on my radio I want to listen to. But in a emergency I want AM radio.

AM propogates much better than FM. Living in a rural area of NJ I can get many am stations from NY and very little FM. Besides I mostly listen to news and Sports Radio. Why remove it? Is it that costly?

I'd wager the VAST majority of the people who will care are a demographic that Ford knows they aren't selling them 3-4 more vehicles. It is what it is, if Ford isn't catering to you, time to start looking at alternatives.
