That's why they rescheduled my delivery date to this week after my Maverick has been sitting at the railyard almost 2 weeks waiting transportation to the dealership.

When the railyard is local to the dealership, Ford should let the dealer take possession of the vehicles there. Maybe let the customer do a test drive from the railyard to the dealer.

When the railyard is local to the dealership, Ford should let the dealer take possession of the vehicles there. Maybe let the customer do a test drive from the railyard to the dealer.
The transport union might have something to say about that. The destination fee (in our case $1500) is an arbitrary number that is different across all vehicles. I live 5 miles from the Bronco plant yet if I bought one I would pay the same as someone in California. They should have factory delivery options, at least in the US, where you pay a reduced fee to keep truckers happy.

Rail yard for 6 weeks?? Holy crap!
Yes its been a painful month and a half waiting since it shipped 11/27….andI am without a vehicle now as my VW finally blew. So fingers crossed I get it soon!


Even if we had the opportunity to hire a local transport company to go pick them up with a fifth wheel and split the costs over the 3 vehicles that they usually haul.

So, my salesman sent me an email this morning asking how I am liking my new Maverick. The salesman that I saw in person yesterday and asked if my truck had been delivered yet.

Put your vin into the United Road website and see if it’s still pending pickup.
My VIN hasn't been accepted by the Ford's tracker since it arrived at the railyard on the 17th of January.

I did the financing on Saturday. They are going to have a huge problem if they sold the same vehicle to two different people.

I have called Ford customer support last week. It hasn't moved yet.

Ford’s tracker is so hit or miss, and I don’t trust the lip service from the 800# as they don’t know that much other than it’s in transit.

I know a lot of Mav get an In Active Status from United Road…. Did you check that one yet?

If you want to send me your vin I can see if it shows In Active or Pending Pick Up at least. Oh and if it was already delivered.

I didn't have any luck with United Road accepting my VIN. I will send in a message, maybe you will have better luck.

I'm not sure who Ford contracts with in the DFW area.

I have received no less than 3 emails in the last week from my salesman with the subject line "Bronco Order" (Spoiler alert: I did not order a Bronco, and tell them this each time). Often asking me the same questions over and over.

My salesman said the email was sent automatically after I completed the financing.

Seems like Ford really wants you to buy a Bronco.

From all my tracking on mine, this means it ha not even been requested to be picked up.

Next step should show Pending Pickup

When it shows Inroute that’s when it’s on the car hauler headed to your dealer.
