Can't Chat with Ford about my order ?

Been attempting to contact Ford to make a minor change to my Mavericks order that I felt my dealer didn't even attempt to make, so I wanted to contact Ford myself. Well with my work schedule the only time I can contact them is on the weekends, I have been trying to use there chat system, and No Matter what browser I use the *Start Chat* button never appears ? So what, did they remove it ? Anyone else run into this issue ?​

Yeah, chat will not change your order, dealer function only

They are 100% not going to edit your order. I highly doubt they even have the ability, since the order was placed by and belongs to the dealership.

The closest they will get is to MAYBE offer to call the dealer for you to ask why the dealer refuses to edit your order. I had that happen for me on my 2022 model year order when a dealer edited my order and really messed it up by adding some extremely constrained items that essentially killed my chances of getting produced. When they claimed they "could not" remove the problematic options, I finally got someone from Ford to call the dealership to ask them what the problem was. But Ford corporate is not going to edit your order.

Aside from the possibility of ford chat editing your order, I had that same problem on the desktop version of their website every single time I tried to use it, even tried several different browsers. I was able to pull it up on my phone though, on the mobile version, and the chat button appeared there, if that helps.

Try clearing your history, cache and cookies. Probably under your settings/privacy/security or something similar in whatever browser you use. Then close the browser and try again.

I am never able to see the chat button in Chrome but it works fine in Firefox.

Your ad blocker is blocking the chat button from appearing. Disable the ad blocker or using another browser (Edge works fine)

Actually my Ad Blockers were disabled, and the page refreshed. I can try again after uninstalling them to see if that helps :/.

An for those wondering, I was trying to get my drop-in bed liner swapped for the spray in bed liner, how ever I literally Just got my VIN # and Production Date, today after making this thread, so am I pretty much SoL at this point, cause I don't want to have to pay extra after getting the truck to add a sprayed in liner. I have no idea why my dealer wasn't able to do this for me, its a simple swap lolz *lease to me it is >.>* lol.

IMO, I would leave the order alone at this point. Trying to make changes at this point might cause more problems and longer delay. The spray in liner would cost you extra either way. Just keep around $500 separate and get it done after you get the truck locally from major dealers like Line-X, Rhino, etc.

That's what I was thinking too, and I could also get a few other things sprayed too at the same time, and I could also sell the drop in liner as well after I get the truck, so there is that option too :/ lol

I think that, atm is my best option, leave it as is and go from there.

I just had to remove the spray in bedliner from my order to get on the production scheduled so since you are now scheduled, you're better off.
