I ordered my XLT hybrid with luxury package in Aug 10, 2021, after i waited around 6months, still no update from dealer. i was thinking does it really available in Canada, I surfing around.........i found something happened in US, but not sure in Canada, dealer hold your car, and keep your waiting, until the time you want to give it up and then try to convince you to wait 2023 model.......... So this time i don't email to the salesperson, I sent an email to Ford.ca, 2 days after, i got a CS reply, asking for the dealer's name, what model, and the order number. i sent them all information they need, 2 day after...............i got an email from the salesperson tell me that the car will be built in Apr, and VIN provided. and the CS from Ford.ca has sent me an email so far..........

so ...... you guys can try to check your order in this way....hope it helps

It seems really random the way they updates customers in Canada... Ordered Hybrid XLT Lux early August, surprising enough last week dealer reached out and said tentative built date Feb 27. I was expecting a built date in April like everyone else, but I'm not complaining. Maybe he had the built date awhile ago?

got a phone call the next day to go over business office details.
Complete silence since then.
No Christmas card, no happy new year email, no mailer on spiffs, no communication to try and drum up accessory sales or to sell my wife a car/truck.
Seems like a lost opportunity to increase revenue, or at least acknowledge I exist as a customer.
I has prepped me for the worst though, so there’s that, lol…

Complete silence since then.
No Christmas card, no happy new year email, no mailer on spiffs, no communication to try and drum up accessory sales or to sell my wife a car/truck.
Seems like a lost opportunity to increase revenue, or at least acknowledge I exist as a customer.
I has prepped me for the worst though, so there’s that, lol…
Same experience here, ordered on Nov 4. Even dealers where I checked out used vehicles in the fall sent me emails about deals, for better or for worse. Figure there is no point in bothering talking to them, I likely wont hear anything until late summer, being a Hybrid Lux Order that went it so close to the cut off.

Sounds like a great idea to try...I have the same build as you and have a late Aug order date, but no VIN. Would it be ok if you shared the email address you sent it to and what you kinda asked them in your original email? Thanks so much!!

World changed.... Nowaday is customer begging for a car....dealer is like a god.....you can have it or not, it all depends on me ...... Don't even expect a "smile" from the dealer salesperson...

you should try, after i sent, the sales sent me the vin and built schedule 2 days after, and the CS from Ford canada hasnt reply on me anymore...it means the CS knows what they are doing......I just sent them on their site

I am close enough to my dealer that I can lurk through the lot multiple times a week. No bright yellow Maverick yet! LOL
