There unfortunately a lot of June, July & August orders left. Hopefully those get built very soon, if not there is no hope for my October build.

amazing they have built date in Feb 27 all in sudden..

I've been asking for a VIN for awhile, kept saying it doesn't populate. Thinking I'll probably get a 2023 model... They called me last Tuesday, said it was in last week. I'm sure they purposely didn't tell me my order # or VIN #, so I can't keep track.

Its possible they really didn't know until it showed up... But my guess is, they don't want customers to call in knowing vehicle has arrived at dealer.

Apr 4 supposed build date came and went
Still only have VIN and "Order Received" status
No window sticker
Dealer confirmed earlier Apr 4 as well last week.

I even got my special order of 2x6 plastic lumber from the states to make the bed dividers....and even that got here before the window sticker.

My bro just got a pro 3d printer so let's see what's faster...if I get an update on my order or he learns how to productionalize maverick FITS and cubby products.

Sorry for the rant, but I feel so sucky and exhausted about this whole process.

And now, the roller coaster of emotions is now UP since the window sticker is now IN.

Still find it so weird that the window sticker doesn't say heated seats but its part of the Lux package, which is clearly listed on there with everything else. Even my spray in!

Not feeling so sucky anymore, but still exhausted from the experience.

I ordered Jan 18th.. out of the 28 orders the dealer has... 7 already have Vins.. im number 12... Still have nothing.. After reading everything im not sure i will even see it this year!!!

Ordered my Maverick the last week of October. The dealer thought it would be here by Christmas. So, December and January come and go and I find this forum and the tracking page. Called my dealer for the order number, but no VIN yet, in February. Saw the video about restricted options, called my dealer to ask if it was true, they said that it was and that I could come in and take the bedliner off my order, did that in March. Called the sales and service hotline for Ford in April as many here have said and found that everything was as it should be, but the order was still being processed, still no VIN. I ran into my salesperson standing in line at Walmart and she mentioned that they had one on the lot, it wasn' t for sale, didn't even belong to this dealer, so I went by and looked at it. That was last Sunday. Since I first started to bother them about it, they have sent me a text nearly every Thursday to say that they have heard nothing.

I just stopped by my Dealer. Salesman doesn't really know anything. She brought out the Dealer Rep that places and placed my order, took my Deposit for retail orders. He looked at my order and said there were no constraints or flags to my order.... Which I ordered only a month ago tomorrow.
No constraints..... Constraints are being said everywhere.
I don't know what to think...

Mirror experience except for the salesperson’s gender, and mine was after 5 1/2 months of wait.
However, they did say they emailed Ford and would update me once they receive a response.
One of my growing concerns though is this dealer has almost nothing on the lot, and hasn’t for the duration of the pandemic so what state are his finances in?
Dealerships need to move volumes of iron to survive and Ford isn’t providing it, so even if I get my truck, will I have a dealer for support later?
Interesting times for sure…
