I'd prefer not using the scissor-jack to remove my rims/tires. Is there a type of floor jack that I need to seek out. (I am not seeing traditional jacking points for a traditional floor jack).

it's a typical floor jack but since you need to lift the mav's by the pinch weld I recommend a jack pad like this

here's a vid I did to demonstrate.

I ordered a jack stand pads so I'm going to do a new video to demo on the mavi soon.

For the house or the road?

For the house a quality floor jack will suffice. You can get a smaller one that can be stowed out of the way. For the road I'd look at a bottle jack as they're much more compact.

Get a decent pair of jack stands either way.

@Rob Daman

There is an arrow molded into the body panel indicating the correct position on the pinch weld to place the jack so you don't damage the body panels or frame components. The arrow is visible at one point in your video. It's in the manual.

The point where you jacked looks close to the arrow. There is an arrow for each wheel. I am going to use a paint marker or something to highlight them so they are easy to pick out in the dark. 4 out of 5 times I've had to change a tire were at night.
