I hate to hijack this thread (by the way, that is a cool mount for the TV) but did anyone notice the guide for the bed straps? Looks like you put the strap under the guide to get the gate half up.After reading the title, I was definitely expecting a finger (paper) football setup in the bed.
I'm still impressed.
Next mod is a tailgate cooler, right?

I dont like the idea of breathing the exhaust fumes to watch a game but breeze would help. Cool setup though.I have the luxury package which includes the power outlet in the bed. Works like a charm!
The maverick has a removable panel on the tail gate that allows access to the latch mechanism. it spans the whole length of the tailgate though, I wonder if someone has made plastic cubbies that fit in. maybe not as a cooler but a little bit of extra storage for bungies or something. I couldn't find any cubbies on my brief google search thoughAfter reading the title, I was definitely expecting a finger (paper) football setup in the bed.

ok that makes sense as the winter freeze/thaw cycles would not be good for the screen or electronic components one would think. i really like your setupThe TV removes from the mount with 2 screws. I keep a torque wrench in the cubby if I need to remove it: takes about 1 minute to unmount. I’m sure I’ll remove it come winter time
when using the bed power outlet is it always 'hot' or must the truck be running? also have you tested how long you can use the TV B4 draining the battery? this battery drain info may be in the owners manual but i have'nt found it so far.I have the luxury package which includes the power outlet in the bed. That's a Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyone. It's not a Maverick. Our trucks don't have that little notch to grab the cable. Would be a lot quicker if they did though.I hate to hijack this thread (by the way, that is a cool mount for the TV) but did anyone notice the guide for the bed straps? Very interesting...
I have not tested the battery life yet and I have the same questions as you. Once I test things out I will reply in the thread and tag youwhen using the bed power outlet is it always 'hot' or must the truck be running? also have you tested how long you can use the TV B4 draining the battery? this battery drain info may be in the owners manual but i have'nt found it so far.
I understand its not a maverick, but I like the idea and with some ingenuity, anything can be done. Just a matter for someone to do itThat's a Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyone. It's not a Maverick. Our trucks don't have that little notch to grab the cable. Would be a lot quicker if they did though.
The bed outlet is not hot until you turn the key on (Hybrid ) the engine will run when needed to top off the battery.when using the bed power outlet is it always 'hot' or must the truck be running? also have you tested how long you can use the TV B4 draining the battery? this battery drain info may be in the owners manual but i have'nt found it so far.
It looks great. Such a shame it's attached to a GM.After reading the title, I was definitely expecting a finger (paper) football setup in the bed.
