I ordered a FE / LUX / 360 / with splash guards on the 13th of September 2021.
Ford said, it will most likely be pushed into the 2023 MY.

So, do you think they will build a "FE" in 2023?

I ordered Oct 2nd for Rapid Red AWD and got the email the other week to consider ordering something else.So, I dont mind waiting it out now as I bought a new Ranger 4 weeks ago that Im happy with so far.

I tried to, but.

I asked the Ford sale person to do so last week.... Remove the "splash guards" please.

I was latter informed by the same Ford sales person that Ford Mo Co wanted the LUX & 360 packages off the order as well.

I informed the sales person that I need both those packages after owning a 2016 MY F 150 King Ranch for the last 6 years with all the bells and whistles!

Reply and say you know Ford wants LUX & 360 dropped as well, but all you want to drop is splash guards.

Splash guards are constrained at 4%. Lux and 360 are also constrained, but not to that level.

I did receive a VIN and a build week of 8/29. I have a Rapid Red FE with splash guards, bug deflector and floor liners. I was a confirmed order on Oct 8th, Ford told me the VIN was issued July 1st.

I wouldn't touch a FE build. They have to build FE's in 2022.

I thought that but since Ford isn't rolling over 22s and just making new 23 orders and private offers, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just cancel the order and give an extra amount to say sorry.

What kind of micky mouse operation of a dealership are you dealing with? Do they realize removing any of those two things makes it just a lariat? If you want a MY22 then keep your FE order and as others have said, remove the splash guards.

Ford HAS to fulfill FE orders. No such thing as a first edition in year 2 of production run.

I have splash guards on mine not a FE. Along with CP360 and Lariat Lux. Late Dec order don't think removing the splash guards would get it built. Plus don't want to be changing my order as that's when it gets screwed up. But how can they build a 23 FE?

They can't. If for some reason a FE build gets pushed to MY23, the buyer will have to pick a different trim when re-ordering. It happened to a few folks with Broncos who were pushed to MY22.
