You are not alone; it has happened to me also. 2025 Lariat Hybrid. My 2022 First Edition Hybrid has never done this. I am going to have the dealer check this when I take it in for its first service.
I got a reply from them and no, these do NOT fit the 2025 models. They stated they are working on an updated model for the 2025's and they should be ready soon. Stay tuned (if interested).
I purchased these and didn't notice they will not work with a 2025 Larait model. Are there any plans to adapt the plug and play harness to the Lariat or do I just need to get rid of these?
I also purchased these for my 2025 Lariat. Will you please let me know how and when I can make them work with my truck? If you PM me, I will provide the order number and date. Thanks.
Yes, there is. I have a 2023 Lariat that I used the plug and play adapter on. Works like a champ and I didn't cut or splice any wires. They are a little expensive for an adpter but it was worth it to me. Here is the link.

My 25 Lariat has been in production since 10 Jan. The window sticker shows more than my initial price sheet from the dealer - but the window sticker does NOT show a $300 deduction for no hitch/trailer assist. The build order of course on the Ford tracking site does. Is there any way to tell...
I used black electricians tape to cover the ugly side of the strip. If you look closely at the pictures I uploaded, it's even hard to see the tape - it blends so well.
I have a little different question - I purchased a set of the original side marker lights. I have never installed them, too uncomfortable with 'splicing' into the existing wiring.
Any chance you will be making the new 'plug-in' harness available separately so we could use them for the original...
Actually, they are - in the 'updated' waterproof version. Here's a link:

Back on page 11 of this thread, user OXHB619 posted a link to a website that makes the adapter you need. It is a little pcicey but I bought one as I didn't want to tap into existing wires. It works nicely and leaves the factory wiring intact. Here is the link again:

My first mod was the tailgate letters. I think these look so much better with the letters that stand out. Not expensive and makes a huge difference. After that, I did the full 14 piece add on dash set in woodgrain. Very nice also.
