If you need an urgent vehicle then ordering a custom one isnt exactly a good idea. Remember the FE has every option available. A lot of these are constrained. Ford must have all of them at one time to build your FE. That has been hard to do when their suppliers cannot get the materials required to put your truck together. I have TWO enroute to me now. Both were ordered with almost 0 options save for a rear window, towing package, XLT, 360 and floor mats. Everything else I could live without or have done myself. You went with the mac daddy edition. Quit being sore that Ford has only had enough supplies to build a limited amount of them because some people have gotten theirs. Also quit being pouty like a 4 year old when people who do not have near the options you do get theirs built because its all Ford can build.

June 10th for me. Not even scheduled for a build date yet either. Meaning the EARLIEST I would get it is end of March now. That's best case scenario. But I'm guessing early April...10 months after I ordered it.

Joining this mess waaaaay late, but by ordering a First Edition, the only things I figured I would be guaranteed was a vehicle built in the first MY, with some little add-ons (and some other things I would have added anyway). Pricing out the Lariat hybrid LUX with soft tonneau cover, spray-in liner, and moonroof basically puts it under a couple hundred bucks less than just getting a First Edition. So for me, it made sense to get the stickers, painted roof, and mirror caps thrown on for next to nothing.
I certainly hoped that the truck build might get some priority, but with all the restraints, delayed OKTB, etc., it for sure lowered my expectations. I am willing to wait a little longer to get the build I want, and don't think there's a reason for a huge uproar if other builds come out first.
I'll only say, there is fair reason to get really pissed if you see similar (if not the exact same) builds getting delivered to people who ordered months after you. I get the whole logistics thing, but still there is good reason to feel slighted.

Hey now! I'm a current and multiple-time Honda owner. If they made a Mav-equivalent I'd be all over it
How many allocations did your dealer get? How many other people ordered before you from your dealer? How many parts on your FE were on constraint? Lots of variables that affect an order.
