After getting my 2022 Maverick back from A No Start warrantee repair, my center front USB plugged failed to provide power or maps in apple Car play..tried several chords.. no luck. But hours later after turning car off and on, it started to work..no clue why (dry 95 degree clean conditions). I...
Dropped my 2022 Lariat off for the No Start work. So far (3 days later) ...with parts pre ordered...they are still 'working' on it, apparently I am the one of the first ones at the dealership to have it done. I have had at least a dozen 'deep sleep' warnings over the last 15,000 miles but so far...
14,000 miles..frequent deep sleep, ‘battery too low to remote start’ , 3 times the door handle touch lock/unlock quit sensing (reinitialize intelligent lock fixes). other thqn that all working, lariat 2022 full package hybrid..
Just a thought..when you ‘grab the handle’ be sure to only touch the back of the handle..not the top..or it will lock vs unlock. The lock sensor is on top of course..
It happened to me shortly after acquiring the vehicle about a year ago.
Then it just happened again.
I suspect others are having the same issue.
The reset sequence did work (again).
I almost went to the dealer to inquire about the fix, then I remembered the forum discussion some time ago worked...
just started having the same problem...have about 8,000 miles on my lariat hybrid. outside temps are now in the 20’s and now i get constant low battery warnings. I drive short trips maybe once a day..now i am concerned
My ’first edition’ Lariat etc..has done this twice now.
Fix has been ‘On the Steering wheel, Menu Settings/Vehicle/Locks/Intelligent Access.’ turn off then turn on. Still not sure why it fails intermittently - driver side only…pax handle works fine
Success...jumped in and disabled Intelligent Access ...waited a few seconds and re-enabled. Now it the driver door handle touch access lock and unlock feature works again. Crazy...for a month I thought I was doing something wrong. Ford send out a letter..frustratingly easy fix.
Yep same thing happened to my Lariat First Edition. Was working the first week, then it hasn't worked in awhile. Read all the manual, no clear explanation as to why. Will try intelligent disable/re-enable and/or battery disconnect. Seems like a Ford system wide fix needed.
bummer…i ordered in mid july, ford confirmed my truck will be in production early march..then a week later informed me my ‘first edition’ wont be built until early april..honestly expecting one more delay…lets hope the product meets the sales info..but very frustrating for us who are pouring...
I actually think this is a good move on Ford's part. The life planning for a much needed vehicle, 6 months - 9 months out from expectations, is pretty hard to manage and breads customer discontent with a product that they should be thrilled to have ordered. Painful in many respects, but I far...
I am at the 6 month point since I confirmed my order, still no word from Ford when it will be in production. The dealer has been super, but their hands are tied by production, at least they keep me informed with the news..good or bad. And like many, I am forced to put money into a high...
Yep..agree. Just for planning, I mistakenly thought their premium product would get some priority in the flow..never expected it to be 'first', but at least insure planning ability, and they would at least, proactively, inform customers of the status with such a high market value product...naive...
