I live in the Denver metro area, and I took my Maverick to a work conference to Colorado Springs this weekend. It was my first time taking it out of the Denver Metro area! The drive was great (except I-25 feels like it is raining pebbles, so many rocks flying at the windshield). I missed the cruise control a little bit, but this was a rare situation where I would have actually used it. Most of the time I dont notice that I dont have it, and I go on trips like this maybe once or twice a year.
I will do a manual calculation of the MPG when I fill up next, but usually it is only off by .5mpg from the computer. I averaged 30.8 mpg on this trip (I am convinced I could have gotten over 31, but I filled up a day before I left and had to drive in icy weather). We are all broken in so I was doing 70 average, but up to 85 for short periods of time.
Anyways, here is the Mav by Garden of the Gods. Sorry it wasnt clean lol
