Starting my own thread, curious to see what my thoughts will be as time goes along.

I'm not factoring in dealer or ordering experience or the rating would be a negative star.

  1. Sitting in the truck, actually seems bigger, wider than it really is. Think it's because the seats sit low and don't see over the hood as good as say an F450. We have a narrow bridge close to the house and the outside lane has about a foot from the line to the concrete. In the F450 trying to stay in your lane, it's pucker time, felt worse in the Maverick just being in the vehicle not being used to it. Not a positive or negative, just an impression.
  2. Seems quiet at least for anything under 55. With the radio going not sure when the engine is running and not so far which is surprising. Haven't got on the interstate yet.
  3. Hands free, wireless car play seems to be good, tested it out at 52mph. Again, curious to see what it is at 70mph.
  4. Backup camera seems clear, at least in the daytime.
  5. Radio is Meh. already have upgrades ordered. Update. Pulling the speakers out there are very cheap. Would expect at least a $80 pair of speakers. The ones in it aren’t worth the cost of material they are made with.
  6. Interior quality - About what I expected. I had purchased a 2010 new to get gas mileage. (Turns out they lied and it wasn't great.) Also, to go to HD, Lowe's etc. Weren't any small trucks in the price range and warranty at the time. Quality seems to be able the same and I paid $15k or something like that 15 years ago now. It's fine, just what it reminds me of.
  7. Ride quaility - Only has 30 miles but kind of rough, my sprinter motor home rides smoother, the kia does as well. But need a few miles on it.
  8. I'm 5" 9.5" exactly and interior room, head room etc seems good. Most cars I fit in good so not much of an issue.
  9. Visibility - Seems good all the way around. i'm concerned about towing a boat or something the mirrors not being out any wider with the tow package.
  10. Lane assist - Seems it keeps you from crossing the center line but is ok running you straight into the ditch. Haven’t been brave enough to see if the wheels will atually go off the side of the road.
  11. Pre collision alert seems to go off for no reason. Had it go off with no cars or anything of note around.
  12. Color - Usually purchase white trucks as they are the safest option for resale. Only color that seemed a viable option was Space white. Turns out it’s a light gray, but actually do like it.
Update
13. Interior plastic scratches just looking at it.
14. Not sure what it is, but relays are clicking all the time in it. I notice them while upgrading the speakers. Can’t be good power is active doing whatever is going on.
15. I don’t care for the cheap, black plastic trim from the bed rails that run up the back

Over all, factoring in everything I'd say about 2.5 stars. Happy with the truck, just a shame they took a 20k truck, mine would have probably been 24k when they came out if they had awd, towing and inflated it to $34k. Hard to ignore that but the look, feel, ride honestly is that of my 2010 kia soul which I like. If this was 24 to 26k, then probably a 4 to 4.5 star initial rating.

Next curious as to how it tows. Hope it tows 4k like it's rated for. Have a 23ft tritoon boat and trailer rated right at 4k I tow for short distances, going to be interesting to see how it does.
