It is the amp fuse. Amp does not have an internal. There is a fuse at battery as well

How does that work? Is that smaller than the battery fuse? That amp has built in circuitry so it doesn’t need a fuse.

Rockford fosgate claims a 30A is needed for the amp. I have a 60A at the battery to cover the 8g orc wiring and a 30A right before the amp to cover it overloading. There are many amps without a built in fuse. RF, Stetsom, Teramps, etc. All of my amps over the years I have run a fuse distribution block before them as extra security
