Ordered Hybrid Sep 18 2021...

2 emails from Ford over 11 months (one saying delayed the other mentioning possible movement to 2023 model) and nothing else.. Dealer was less than helpful. Called Marketing once 4 months back but they had no news on my order other than confirming it was placed.

Yesterday I called Marketing again and they gave me a VIN! Which allowed me to get into the vehicle order tracking site. However the site only shows my order acceptance date of 9/18/21... nothing else.

I have not received an email from Ford with the VIN or buid info... So not sure what it means but I have a glimmer of hope now.

The order tracking site doesn't actually show your scheduled build date. Dealer/Customer service can tell you scheduled build week. I believe with the new scheduling notices you should get e-mailed when it's scheduled to an approximate day (but even then can be pushed back). If you get close enough that a window sticker is issued then that'll also give build time estimate even if it gets moved.

Did I read that correctly??? You ordered in Jun 2020 and it was delivered in April 2022?

June '21; about a week after the Maverick announcement. Part of that was about 6 weeks of production pushbacks and another 6 weeks of delivery transit.

I know there is no way to accurately predict... but from VIN to Delivery... what are MOST people seeing in time frame?

It varies a lot. I think the recent recalls and chip issues have made it so unpredictable. I received my VIN on 4/15 and still waiting on my truck. I would think yours would be faster since Ford is trying to finish up with MY 22 but I don't think anyone knows that for sure. Good luck!

Ouch. That has to come close to qualifying for sainthood. I think extraordinary suffering is one of the qualifiers. I'm whining because I had a Vin a month before my build. And now I'm whining because I've been in build a week. I guess it's important to use perspective before whining.
