I have called about quite a few. Most were 5k+ over MSRP. That’s a big reason why I hadn’t got one yet. This one is 1k over. I figured that was close enough to reasonable.

Too bad you missed out on the exquisite agony of the Ford Maverick ordering process.....

Made it back last night with my new Maverick. If anyone is in the East TN/West Carolinas area, D and D Motors in Greer, SC seemed pretty on top of it and good to work with.
As for the Maverick, it drove well and got good gas mileage on the way back home. So far so good

$1000 over isn't bad. I would just count that as a "no wait" fee for not having to go through the order process and waiting months (10 months for me) like the rest of us that put in orders.
