Not sure this is the answer but hybrids make that chirping sound when you are reversing regardless of what buttons are pushed. When you opened the door in the example above, your Maverick automatically shifted into park so the chirping stopped.
The Hybrid is so quite, the beeping sounds lets pedestrians behind you hear the vehicle is moving. It always beeps when in Reverse
Bell sound on mine, just like if some dumb ass left the parking brake on. I think they have the wiring screwed up.
Agreed!! The one manual for differently optioned Mavericks makes it hard to find stuff in the manual, you can't search for "hieroglyphic images" or when you find what you're looking for it's for a Lariet or XL., which may be very different.

Hopefully it was one in 80k. I suggest at delivery, have the dealer do a master reset before you drive off the lot and add your own personal settings. I thought it was funny that all these different radio stations were selected on a brand-new truck. Plus sitting in some railroad yard for months in the desert, weird things can happen.

I thought those scoring systems only came on Mustangs?? Or do all Fords count bodies?
