2022 - Alto Blue XLT, FX4, 4K Tow - Rough Country 2" lift and Bushwacker Fender Flare - trying to figure out my tire/wheel layout.

After spending more than a few days scouring the forums and making notes, I've come to the conclusion that adding the 2" lift to the Maverick doesn't allow for any larger tires. The wheel wells are so narrow that, although the height is raised the tires are still confined by the wheel well.

Regardless of lift, it appears that 245/70/R17, is the largest tire you can fit without modifying the pinch weld and the inner well fabric.
Even then, the Falks rub a bit but the Toyos are not as square on the edges and miss.

To get a wider truck stance, I'll need to find a wheel with an offset that pushes them out or add a spacer (1.5" min).

I'm no stranger to beating over a pinch weld and adding spacers but just can't get myself to do that on the Maverick just yet.

I'm open to any comments or others observations!

I've owned lots of 4x4s and trucks of all shapes and sizes. The Maverick came along at the perfect time in my offroading evolution. It pulls our tiny stripped bare popup with little effort and once I've rid it of the sad little Pirellis, we'll see how she performs pulling it along the fire roads for boondocking.
I absolutely love the truck and everyone that has seen it does as well.

Thanks in Advance,
TRex

What wheel offset/spacer did you use?

I installed Vredestein Pinza AT 245/70-17 on Method MR501 +42 17x8.

No issues at all and fills wells perfectly. No rub on full lock and bump. Quiet and fantastic in the soft sand.
