Tire sizing question 18x8.5 40mm

If my math is correct there would be 22 mm less room on the inside and 16 mm bump out on the outside.
Do you guys know if that 22 mm less on the inside will work or will it rub?
I’ve heard there is a little room to play with on the inside. Does anyone know how much room between stock wheel and touching? My car is suppose to arrive anytime and I have a chance to get a deal on wheels in either the size above or a wider 9 inch with 35 mm offset.

There’s at least 2 members running Konigs that are 17x8.5 and +43. You should be able to check their tire diameters to see what should fit.

I run a 245/70-17 with a +42mm offset and there is very very slight rub on the felt on full lock with compression. 1.5” level kit on front
