Hey Mike!
I love it. My big guy is 100# and it doesn't flex or bend. The one I have extends over that gap between the seats and the front seat backs.
They don't hesitate to hop in. *Well not entirely true... my big guy has bad knees and has to be helped in and out. I have built a couple of...
I believe my truck fit the CSP requirements but apparently, the dealership has not received the CSP on my truck yet. Therefore, per the CSP, even if you haven't received it, they will still replace them if they are bad. This is my second set to crap out - I hope these last.
The dealer replaced...
Well, reading comprehension is tough too I see.
I stated in my post that the dealer told me that they were REPLACED UNDER THE DRIVE TRAIN WARRANTY.
That is what prompted the comment of having a replacement IN RESERVE.
Yes, I am well aware of the CSP being a one time replacement.
Nice that you know how to use all caps. Did I hurt your feelings?
Why is the CSP even required if it was covered by my drive train warrany? Seems it would continue to be replaced when it goes again, as long as the warranty is still valid.
I dropped the truck off at the dealer on Wednesday and heard back today that axles were placed under the drive train warranty. No mention of the lift.. nada. My build date was Dec '21, so it met the CSP but he'd never heard of it. I gave him a copy. I guess that means I've still got a set in...
I actually do not know how tne 4 Wheel Parts guys managed it I didn't get any paperwork from the dealer. I didn't want to know if they did do everything above board.
I am dropping the truck off at the dealer next week for the recalls and they are going to check it then. If it's not covered as...
Has anyone taken in a lifted Maverick for replacement? Did they cover it under this CSP?
I have the 2" lift and originally told by the dealership that the aftermarket lift disqualified the warranty. I returned to 4WParts and I had to wait 6 weeks but.... the dealership that they work with...
I also bought the FitCam. I pulled off the ceiling cover and found the Connector that I assume is used for the rain sensor ,(that I do not have on my 22XLS). My first thought, ooooh I bet I can use this?!?
Do you mind telling me the details?
What's the wiring schematic for the plug?
Where and...
I actually built a cover from 1/2" plywood as part of my 'tent' creation for overlanding. I like it because when I have it connected with a turnbuckle and the tailgate is shut - it's locked.
The idea is to disperse camp a night or two, then hit a hotel the next. Our stuff is secure if we are...
I'm a 62 yo female retired engineer. The Maverick is my 29th vehicle - being an engineer, I have them all in a spreadsheet. I was elbow deep in all of them. Everything across the board, 1977 Datsun 280Z to 2018 BMW then there have always been off road trucks - 3/4 ton Suburban 4x4 with lift kit...

I'm just now getting back into working on it again. I've come a ways since these first photos. I need to get a few updated ones.
It's currently only 1/2" plywood because it's all I can...
It's been a minute since this post but I actually used something inspired by this suggestion!! Thanks. Unfortunately, the bit of water that did get under was trapped and over time mildewed and rotted the thinner boards under. I am still working on it and it's not a deal breaker!!
But thanks...
I haven't watch any previous build videos or posts so sorry if this has been addressed.
How are you ensuring water proofing along the front frame below the back window as it is a unibody and nowhere for the water to flow out except the sides?
I have been working on a similar (yet much more...
My buddy got overzealous and shut their huge sliding gate on my baby truck. Luckily, it didn't get my brand new Toyo's and only gouged the rim and scarped bny fender flare. It's cosmetic but would like to replace it.
I am also in the market for one - my buddy shut the automatic gate on me as I was driving out. Luckily, it was the best place for the huge gate to have hit me... it scratched the big fender flares and gouged the wheel.
I currently use a collapsible step stool but I'm looking for something more stable.
I have built a (I struggle for a name) truck bed camper/but not camper. I used the model of the rooftop camper and lifted roof from the back side. We used it for one trip spur of the moment and for only spending...
Has anyone tried modifying a side mounted bed step for the Maverick?
I realize most people probably don't need one but I'm horizontally challenged. With the two added inches, it's just out of my comfortable range. I use the trailer hitch with the tail gate closed but with it down, in and out...
