Does anyone have a fiber material (usually see in trunk of car) as your wheel well liner? I have these in the front but plastic liners in rear. Talked to dealer and they indicated they used this same material on the Mach E and had to do a recall as it would absorb moisture, get heavy and sag!

It’s all over the bottom of the truck too. Haven’t heard anyone complain. Maybe I will spray silicone on it to repeal water.

Not an expert, but I would be careful spraying a sealant on this material. It may cause the moisture collected to be held instead of leeching out or evaporating.

If you spray the bottom and the top is still unsealed, it may collect moisture.

Just my uneducated opinion, for what it’s worth.

Has not been a problem for me at all OP, no drooping or absorbing water. I have found them to be very easy to clean as well. I am just shy of 10k miles, and have had so much mud piled up in the wheel wells hanging off these liners its nuts - no problem, did not droop. The under trays are also no problem to keep clean and are easy (3 minutes) to pull for maintenance.

No need to do anything to them, they work fine.

Don't ask dealers front end staff questions about cars, as a general rule they know very little about them. Actual car enthusiasts do exist in sales staffs, but have always been super rare in my experience....
