I don't think any substantial flare could be compatible with OE mud flaps. Rough Country certainly aren't.

You might have luck with adhesive cladding like the Mabett "flares" on Amazon.

I installed the Mabett Fender Flares ($139.99) and Mabett Mud Flaps. The Fender Flares install without any drilling. I only used the plastic buttons & 3M double stick tape. This the same way the Ford Air Design® Fender Flares ($669) are installed.

I installed both the Mabett Fender Flares and the Mabett Mud Flaps at the same time.

I agree that Mabett Fender Flares look like they belong on the Maverick.

I opted for a different type of "Flare" These moldings give an extra 1/4" of coverage, protecting the fender edges, and minimize the black "huge wheel well" look of black flares. Trim to fit any mudflaps as I did. USA made, $37 a roll.

I have the factory Ford mud flaps. The Muppet flares work with them just fine. A couple tips for installation. Trim away any tape that rides up too close to the edge of the flare. Reuse your OEM push pins as they are longer than the ones provided by mabett. Make sure you put them back in the hole they came out of as they are not all the same length.

I too put Mabett flairs on with OEM mud flaps. Pretty straight forward. Do pay attention to length of push pins.

Did have one or two holes that needed some encouragement ie: drilling the flap hole in a slightly off spot.
