Fender Badge Insert Size

Does anyone have the dimensions for the cavity in the fender badge. Was wanting to try and make my own version of those lenses people put lights and was hoping to find either some known dimensions of that hole or an existing cad file of it.

I don't have the measurements, but when I was thinking of something similar. I took a piece of paper, pressed into the opening and used my finger nail to trace the shape. I then highlighted the shape with a pencil so I could use it as a pattern.

So I started to make my own badge. I'm just printing in green so it doesnt waste my clear filament. Its designed with the outside being perfect flat to print easily. I'm just using an ender 3 to make this at moment.

My goal was to allow a normal led strip to sit inside. I was trying to get a full 12 inch strip but it overlaps itself by 1/2 inch or so. The slot at the top is so the wires can come out to where id only need to drill a smaller hole on the top corners of the fender badge where it cant be seen.

I did a few tests with some lights but the plastic just doesnt diffuse the light much and its very easy to see where the led's are. I'm not sure how to improve that.

Overall, I think ive got the form right. I think i should probably add a small hole in the bottom to account for any water build up.

I could use some criticism though incase im forgetting anything.
