Faulty molding passenger side

So, I could go to my local dealer to have this addressed, but I’ll be moving soon so I don’t need the timing stress. On the top of the passenger side cab are two little strips of weather stripping which just randomly terminate. One of them is just kinda flapping in the wind.

What would you recommend here? Is there an adhesive you would recommend as an interim fix?

Just a heads up, I found this same issue on my driver's side yesterday. Looks like it simply didn't have anything holding it down.

There's got to be an adhesive or something behind the ones staying in place

my Go-To is Permatex Black Adhesive Sealant Silicone RTV #81158. Got mine at Wal-Mart for like $6.00. Other auto places carry it as well.

I experienced a similar issue with the drivers side. I just got back from having it fixed at the dealer. The part was delivered in 2 days. It took about 45 minutes to replace the molding.

Just noticed this on mine on the drivers side. Hate to have to waste time going to the dealer if its not a big issue. Idk how long its been like that but i was my truck weekly thru the touchless carwash, that piece doesnt shouldnt be a issue with getting water in the cabin right? Ill have them replace it when i do a oil change but thats a couple months away atleast

I wound up using just a drop of Permatex Black Adhesive Sealant Silicone in the interim and it solved the problem for now.

Mine was delivered today and both the left and right have loose rubber. I'll make sure they fix it before I take possession.

Hopefully they do fix it and not say you refused delivery and sell it to someone else with a hefty ADM -
