Did some quick searching and didn't see much traffic for this cover.... Anyone run it? Thoughts? I had one on my f150 and really enjoyed it so thought i'd spring for the same for my Maverick thats coming soon. Anyone?

I used to sell these in the truck and offroad store I owned. We stopped selling them before the Solid Fold 2.0 came out because of customer complaints of leaking hinges and other problems. At that point we started recommending the Undercover Ultra Flex and had virtually zero complaints with that one, but it is a bit more expensive.

The 2.0 redesign may have fixed the issues, but the model just lost our trust, and we never went back to it.

appreciate that input... Looks alot like the MX4 that i've been eyeing as well.

I'm beginning to think with the work that the Maverick will do, the solid fold may be overkill.

The MX4 is a good cover and we sold quite a few of those. The tiebreaker between the MX4 and the UltraFlex was the prop rod design and the warranty period. Check them both out but you can't really go wrong between those two.

9 months with the ultra flex and I am very happy. Much better prop rod system than BAK, in my opinion.

What makes me nervous about these (specifically the ultra flex, not sure if its a problem on the MX4 yet), is that the sliders on the tie down rail don't work without force or modification.... I saw your previous post. Not a huge fan of needing to modify etc.

Have had the trifecta 2.0 signature on my mav since I got it 6 months ago. Only cover I’ve ever had so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I don’t have any complaints worth mentioning for its price point thus far. Looks way better than the soft roll ups half it’s price and mostly as effective as the hard fold ups twice the price.

You do have to push a bit to seat the rods in the rest position, nothing really gross though. Clip in and release very well to prop up the folds. Minor mod with a thin file but I didn't.
