Expiring Private Offers

I was talking with the Ford Customer service a week ago to check on my order status. Still "Clean Unscheduled". The order is a 2023 rollover XL Hybrid with drop in tray liner and bumper hitch.

They mentioned my private offer ($2500) and gave me the reference number for it. The rep mentioned that it would be expiring the first week of January, 2024. I believe the private offer was issued in the first batch of orders that were being rolled over to 2024 models. The rep mentioned to contact your Ford dealer to get the private offer extended should the order not get fullfilled by then (which I am sure it won't since it is not currently not scheduled). I talked with my local Ford dealer this morning and they were uncertain whether it can be extended and will get back with me.

You don’t need to get the private offer extended by the dealer. That was wrong information. They are automatically extended by Ford’s system.

I'm in the same boat. this is my build week and am still waiting for window sticker availability from Ford. I expect it any time now. I'm wondering how far in advance does Ford extend the expiration date? That's if they are actually going to do it again. It's gonna be real close on when the dealer receives the Maverick and the April 2nd date. Not very comforting!

One more thing, many are saying the offer does not expire if the dealer uses the order date and has it locked in. I'm going to go by my dealer on Friday and try to clarify. Confusing for sure!

It'll just get extended the day it's supposed to expire.

My offer was set to expire Jan 2nd and when I checked on that date it now said April 2nd.

You'd think after a year of people freaking out that the private offer is technically going to expire and Ford extending it every time folks would see the pattern..
