Private Offers Extended

I just verified on the phone with Ford's customer service that my transitional private offer was extended to 4/3/2023. It was previously 1/3, but Ford extended it by three months.

The agent provided the program number and the certificate number, so I am ready when the car gets in.

did you need a VIN in order to verify? My dealer says the CPO (if any is made) will show when the VIN is assigned.

I think I remember that I was able to get my previous cert # from Ford customer service before I had a VIN, since they link your email to your account.

Update: Last week my Maverick came in and I purchased it with the new $2750 certificate! I even got X-plan combined with the cert.

Awesome news! Were you able to tell if the $2750 certificate offset taxes or if the full MSRP was taxed?
I know it won't make much of a difference but $230 is a decent chunk of change (NV 8.375%).

@fordvideoguy said it would be shown as a rebate...thus taxed. $137.50 here in WY at 5%. (Extra 1% is a city tax).

I was taxed on the amount prior to the certificate. On the contract, they applied the $2750 as a down payment.
