Yep, besides you never know when you will need to tow, that is the benefit of having a pickup to begin with, the capability. That should carry over to resale value down the road. From what I have seen with the FX4 package on F150's and Rangers is that they similarly tend to hold their value better.
I really only went with FX4 because I like the instrument cluster and wheels better; I will likely never need the actual functional features. But, I figured it would add to the value of the truck down the road because people like the FX4 badging and perceived functionality. With that in mind and based on responses here, I decided to add the 4k tow as well.

Now, hopefully at least one of these trucks will actually get built...

I needed/wanted, all wheel drive. for slippery boat ramps here in Florida .Here is the thing I dont have 4k tow didnt need it ,I am towing 1500lb boat with trailer on occasion not every day. AWD is intelligent AWD ,so when you put the AWD screen up in the dash screen, it shows you if it is operating in all wheel drive , unless your rear wheels are slipping you are operating in FWD 95% of the time so it is basically there when you need it.
Anytime you apply throttle to accelerate, it shows all 4 wheels powered.

I wanted AWD for slippery boat ramps. Even with a light weight boat/trailer. Also wanted independent rear suspension.

I personally think both upgrades are well worth the cost.

I reserved mine in June, ordered in August. Removed all the restraints in October and just received the truck May 4th. Xlt EB FWD I wanted the tow pkg., lux., and 360, but I didn't want to wait anymore. Too soon to tell If I miss any of It.
