The hybrid with the torsion beam rear axle will have a harsher ride than independent rear suspension. The videos I've seen points this fact out. I don't have mine yet but am not expecting too much in ride quality.
This makes sense and explains why I feel it is a harsh ride. Thanks for reminding me of that difference between the Hybrid and the AWD version EcoBoost. Non-AWD EcoBoosts should ride similar to the Hybrid.

Oh. So uhh first time truck. And only ever had to deal with tire pressures on a mini Cooper. Just assumed that the 50 psi was normal and never expected the recommended to be lower than that little cars lol.

Glad this thread informed me I need to fix that haha

Have not had an issue with bumps though. Smooth drive all this time.

Well I own one too and I disagree on any road that isn't perfect. Maybe you have perfect roads where you live but here in Ohio we do not. This will in no way change my mind about what a great little truck it is but I know what I feel driving it. Others are also agreeing with what I say.

Yes, best description is extra firmness.

Well I'm sure we all would love to hear the mpg results difference from Michigan to Florida. I'm in 16 degree Ohio. Also be careful of the big storm starting tonight.
We're not leaving until next weekend, hopefully by then it will be even colder here in Michigan and warmer in Florida. Just to make sure we get some good average MPG figures there, we'll stay for the whole month and report back.
