I'm impressed, Ford Maverick Hybrid, is a winner!
The ecvt transmission is as smooth as silk, it transitions between electric drive, gasoline engine drive, and battery regeneration, seamlessly, there is no jerking, shuddering, or grinding, just smooth acceleration,/deceleration. When driving, you can hear when the gasoline engine starts, but you feel nothing as it transitions from electric, I find this amazing!
This truck has excellent road manners, easy manoverability, and a great ride, roomy cabin, and is comfortable to operate. Super pleased, that I chose the Hybrid!!!

The only gripe I have with mine is that the ride is not the smoothest. Every little bump is noticeable to me. Have you noticed this?

Now with over 800 miles I find it rides as well as my 2016 Prius with just hint more firmness. Very pleased with the ride.

Not sure what you are comparing this cheap truck to but my Prius Cost 28K in 2016. This truck is a bargain.

Have you checked the tire pressure? They overinflate for transport and may have forgotten to adjust them.

You must be driving up here in Michigan. 35 PSI in the tires might make a difference.

If not the tire pressure you could try different tires all together. Tires can make all the difference.

Yes, I will check tire pressure, my Ford Pass app says they are a mix of pressures from 36-37. I'll lower all to 35. I was comparing the ride to our 2011 Outback which seems to have a much less harsh ride. Far from unhappy with the Maverick. Now to improve my mpg from 35 mpg.

Yes, best description is extra firmness.

Well I'm sure we all would love to hear the mpg results difference from Michigan to Florida. I'm in 16 degree Ohio. Also be careful of the big storm starting tonight.

The hybrid with the torsion beam rear axle will have a harsher ride than independent rear suspension. The videos I've seen points this fact out. I don't have mine yet but am not expecting too much in ride quality.
