My window sticker shows a charge of $3305.00 for equipment group 300A which is a part of the XLT package.

If I ordered the exact same configuration today even with Ford's price increases my truck would be almost $3000 less because Ford is no longer charging for the group 300A package.

That item on the window sticker is poorly worded, I don’t know why. It’s actually for the 2.0L EB + AWD package, not the XLT trim. Build a Maverick online and you’ll see the same $3305 figure there.

EDIT: Just checked, the configurator is showing 2.0L EB & AWD isn’t an up charge, which unless they’re giving it away now, isn’t right. Looks like they made a mistake when posting the increased prices.

I can confirm there is about $3000 price difference between my order that got shipped yesterday and what it would cost to order one today.

My window sticker says $30,670
Built the same truck TODAY for $27,600

What the actual f*** Ford?!?

I did the build exactly as before. XLT Cyber Orange with all packages. That's why I included the screen shots.

My build now costs $29045

Not unless the 2.0L & EB costs the same as the hybrid. It’s an error, the fine print will tell you that it’s not a binding quote. The prices went up, not down.

Just priced my Lariat build, and too is showing lower. I had priced it the other day and it was correct (the same as my order).
The site is definitely messed up, Ford didn’t just reduce the price.

It’s called a mistake, it happens.

Just did a "build and price" on my XLT (see options in signature).

Price is $190 more today than when I ordered.
  • Base MSRP increased by $80. (22,280 ==> 22,360)
  • CP360 price increased by $110. (540 ==> 650)
Everything else remained the same.

Sorry, you're right, that one has nothing to do with free AWD...
4k tow requires AWD, initially they sold it with 2.0L FWD. They changed the requirement after orders began. Anyone who ordered a 2.0L FWD 4K tow got a free upgrade to AWD.

The B&P tool is claiming that the hybrid is the same cost as the 2.0L AWD which doesn’t make any financial sense for Ford. So it’s not right.

So no, the two aren’t the same at all.

" ...free upgrade to AWD... "was the part I was focusing on.

All joking aside, I imagine that they may be making a trade off on some items and doling out some free upgrades in a pinch because of production constraints and they want to get trucks out the door.
