Depends on where the mud flaps are made but some plastics are in short supply. Could be Ford’s supplier is having trouble getting enough materials to produce what Ford ordered.

Or the container full of mud flaps from China fell off a container ship mid-Pacific. You never know these days.

I work in the plastics industry sure the raw material is in short supply. Seems like they can find the plastic for the rest of the car. But they probably or should use regrind for these. Or the ship sunk? after all that ship with all the cars on it did. Just seems like a wierd constaint, same with the tonneau cover.

And it has a nasty scratch on the door panel..........Pretty brazen!
I just had a Ford dealer send me an unsolicited text saying 2023 Maverick order bank opens September 15. Is that the actual date now, or did this internet person just send me fake news?
Ford Video Guy announced that late last week on youtube. It's real!

I called Ford they told me I was at priority two. My dealer assures me I have a covp. I have received the Ford emails. That is my biggest fear. Waiting 7 months and being told I have no order would suck. Loaded Lariat awd just wish I didn't order the stupid mudflaps.
I think your order is fine. You definitely got to try to get the mud flaps off. They're death to your order if they are still there. I believe they are under a 1 percent constraint. Having said that; the lux package will not get built as a 22 according to Tim Bartz. I did go to my dealer on Easter to see the covp with my own eyes. I have not received even one email from Ford, so seeing the covp relieved a lot of those fears about my order.

That sometime in September is when the 22 orders will have the opportunity to re-order. I would assume before the 15th, but maybe not. The 15th is the definite date for brand new orders to be taken. Of course this could change multiple times because hard dates are non existant.

Thanks but being at priority 2 I don't think I can. Should have taken them off then my dealer contacted me about the constaints. Figured with lariat Lux they were the least of my issues. But apparently they are. Don't mind getting a 23 but that will most likely put me past a year of waiting. In it for the long haul now.

Did you get the "sorry" email where they mentioned the private offer?

Nope, When I first ordered my order was not processed until the 31st because the owner of the dealership wanted to put in all the orders of the last few days in all at once. My order showed pending for about 5 days after my order. So when I went in on Easter the covp showed approved, but I think the pending thing messed up the email process. I was glad to hear the dealers are now getting the private offers instead of us getting the emails. I have got nothing from Ford, but there are others like me.. I will order a hybrid from another dealer to cover myself, just in case I fall into the cracks, but I think I'm okay.

If you still want them off the dealer can take you back to a priority 10 and they can, I unless no one is allowed to change anything now. I do think there is a little more time, but not sure. Anyways, then the dealer has to ask their Ford zone rep to take it back down to a 2. That's what Tim Bartz says anyways'

Thanks but since they are not making any more xlt or luxury packages I will wait it out. Who knows maybe I will be the last of the 22's. I only ordered 7 months ago so don't fell so bad compared to many others. Just don't want to wait another year would have to do something different.

You have a good approved order. You can have the splash guards removed. Your dealer would remove them and before submitting the change, they change the priority from 2 to 10 and it will save the changes. Then they need to contact their Ford Rep to get it changed back to priority 2.

Removed the splash guards not that I expect it to help. I was going to remove them when I have to reorder anyway. It was very easy. Hope not to easy. Lol
