Entire electronic system malfunction

Got into my Mav and discovered radio never shut off. No response to screen or knob control. No backup camera No phone connection Nuts. At Ford dealer now hoping for a simple fix

That's what the Ford service center did. A hard reset fixed it. I don't know how to do that

It's in the owner's manual ... I am surprised no one at the dealership could do a quick walk-through with you though.


Resetting the System
1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek up and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.

2. Wait three minutes to allow the system to complete the reset.

Thanks but it wasn't just the radio It was the backup camera, the phone, etc. Would the radio control all that?

The radio (Head Unit) does interface with those items, yes.
Can't say that is what they reset, but it would the first thing to try.

There is another entry in the owner's manual for a "master reset", but i have never needed/used it.

All of that is reset by doing the Infotainment System reset, already mentioned above.
