End of the (rail) line

I got an alert from VinView that my truck had reached East Brookfield, MA on 6/24. That is not much of a town (west of Worcester) and I wondered "why there?". Searched for the town on Google maps, then zoomed in and looked for RR tracks. I found them on the west side of town and followed them eastward until I came to the terminal and saw this:

So that's where they unload and get trucked from there to the dealer. That shouldn't take long, I thought. Then I zoomed out and realized it might be a while. . .

It looks like every new vehicle shipped to New England via rail must come through this place. VINview provides an estimated delivery date of 7/21 (to Lebanon Ford in NH). I'll update this when it arrives.

I love the fact that you used VIVView that is just "AWESOME" it was great to the alerts as it (E T A D) I had VINView on mine and it arrived at a yard in McCalla AL on the 27th X L HYBRID congrates to you

Well, looks like my truck will pass through the same CSX rail yard on its way also to Vermont.

I got a call from the dealer yesterday (6/29) saying it had arrived. I'll be picking it up today. I feel like I've been pretty lucky throughout this process, which started with my order on 9/15/22 for this XL Hybrid with a hitch receiver and no other options. It was built on 6/14, and now here it is in Lebanon NH within 15 days. I hope my luck continues with trouble-free ownership. My sympathy for those of you who are still waiting.

Congratulations. East Brookfield is close to my residence. I found that mine went through there also....Kinda of neat.

i've been getting my VinView update from my dealer.
are you a dealer by chance? if not, how are you able to get alerts from VinView?
is it something customers can have access to, and if so, can you clue me in?
i'd love to track myself

Interesting, I gotta wonder if my Mav will come thru here or wind in Quonset Point. RI (I went thru Southern New England dealer). Ford is listed as a customer of the Port facility but maybe that's just for export to Europe.

Still be nice if it shows up closer to home in September.

No, I'm just a regular customer. I asked the dealer about VIN view and they set things up so that I was getting an email alert each time it hit a milestone destination. I only got two of those: one when it got to Indiana and another one it reached East Brookfield. I didn't get anything from VinView after left there.
