Found out today you just can't have your dealer change your order. The VIN # includes the details from your original order. Not sure if Ford will honor upgrade if placing a replacement order. Even if they do surely the production week is going to slip. Oh well.

If you are eligible for the upgrade, contact ford directly on their customer service line and they might be able to help you even though the vin has been created.

Where did you hear? I too put in a replacement order when this originally was forced to change in August. I thought they were just modifying my original order, but they may have just put a new order in.

Probably have to contact your dealer and have them get in touch with the regional Ford rep and they may be able to change it.
