Eibach pro bumpstop

For everyone that have installed these did you cut the front bumpstop like it says in the instructions? whats the point in doing so?

Because that's what the instructions said to do.
Lol jK, most likely because 2" less of spring will give you 2" less of shock travel resulting in a lot of hitting that bump stop, cutting off 2" of it will give you closer to factory shock travel before hitting the bump stop
