Whoa Nelly!
This engine is different.

In my 2024 AWD Lariat Ecoboost
Eco drive mode made the engine feel like it needed a tune up. It really sucked.

In my 2026 Tremor Eco feels just like the 2024’s Normal drive mode. Sport mode and paddle shifters In my Tremor, I like I like !

This 2026 engine pulls harder, spins up faster and shifts less. I’m not sure why it feels stronger.
I don’t see anything different in the gear ratios.
The tires look taller, is the final drive lower ?
Nickel for you thoughts boyz ?
Sorry, the penny is history:D

2024 Lariat Tremor no Eco mode for me!
I know ForScan is the answer but life's too short to drive in slow eco mode

In my 22xl ecoboost I use eco mode often, eco mode has plenty of power and normal mode can sometimes be to powerful. Sport mode is the mode in never use.

Oh, man. You're missing out not using Sport mode once in a while. Gets the blood moving.

My 25 Lariat Boost runs just fine in Eco mode. Just returned from a round trip to Taylor AZ (from Mesa AZ), about 320 Miles, high point above 7600 elevation and temps above 105 at lower elevations. I use 91 octane and have plenty of get up and go.

Thor shares very few engine components with Pepper. Spark plugs (maybe a few other bits?).

What has changed? Redesigned twin scroll turbo might feel different to you? Port injection at times might feel different? Slightly altered bore & stroke. More direct air intake. Built in Dearborn. Torque vectoring RDU and different ECU/TCU programming. And of course the ability to shift gears yourself.

The 2026 Tremor is the pinnacle of the Maverick line. Seriously can’t think of anyone else who deserves it more than you:)
